AB 1794 – ACKNOWLEDGMENT REQUIREMENT
Each instrument, paper or notice that is recorded shall be executed and acknowledged or verified as a new document, in addition to any previous execution and acknowledgment or verification. This requirement has been made in accordance with the legislative amendment of Gov. Code section 27201.
AB 2093 – AMENDMENT TO SECTION 1938 OF THE CIVIL CODE
Relates to disability access, and declaring the urgency thereof. Requires commercial property owner or lessor to state on every lease form or rental agreement, whether or not the premises have been inspected by a CASp specialist.
SB 1150 – AN ACT TO ADD SECTION 2920.7 TO THE CIVIL CODE, RELATING TO MORTGAGES AND DEEDS OF INTEREST
The bill would require a mortgage services, within 10 days of a claimant being deemed a successor in interest to provide the successor in interest with information about the loan, as specified.
